Latest News - Valve Stem Recall

Several tire valve stem manufacturers have recently implemented a recall on certain tire valves due to defects that cause the rubber portion of the valve stem to crack and, therefore, allow air loss, leading to potential tire damage or failure.

These faulty valve stems were used by new car manufacturers as well as tire outlets during tire replacements and/or repairs from late 2006 till the end of 2007.

The valve stem manufacturers have provided a procedure to the tire industry on how to properly inspect and replace affected valve stems in order to avoid potential tire damage or failure.

We at Conrad's Tire Express and Total Car Care will inspect and replace, free of charge, any affected valve stems for Northeast Ohio residents, whether your tires were purchased at Conrad's or not.
